The Trans Youth Equality Foundation provides education, advocacy and support for transgender and gender non-conforming children and youth and their families. Our mission is to share information about the unique needs of this community, partnering with families, educators and service providers to help foster a healthy, caring, and safe environment for all transgender children. 




For entering transgender college freshman in USA only, four year colleges and community colleges.

Deadline: Apply by April 1, 2019. Notice given by May 15, 2019.

There are people in the fields of arts, science, religion, history sports,music and much more. TYEF’s Stephen Alexander is referred to as Americas first out transgender middle and high school coach. Acknowledged for his work by Out Sports and Sport’s illustrated. He is quoted as describing sports as working with people for a common goal and being part of something larger then yourself. At TYEF he is encouraging, has boundless energy and cares deeply for kids and promoting inclusivity. Read this book! AFTER OVER A DECADE OF HOLDING POPULAR TRANS CAMP WE ARE AVAILABLE FOR ANY PERSON OR ORGANIZATION to train you from A-Z to start a camp or retreat near you. More camp experiences are needed. Ask us about this.


AFTER over a decade of holding these groups we are available to train you to start your own, making it easier to begin with confidence, skills and tried and true ideas. Anywhere in the country, we want to see more excellent support groups in your community. A rewarding effort for those who have the time and commitment. TYEF is here for you .
