The Trans Youth Equality Foundation provides education, advocacy and support for transgender and gender non-conforming children and youth and their families.

Our mission is to share information about the unique needs of this community, partnering with families, educators and service providers to help foster a healthy, caring, and safe environment for all transgender children.

TYEF Transwaves Podcast Program

Transwaves is a podcast produced by the Trans Youth Equality Foundation, where we interview trans youth, allies, providers, activists, families, and more to bring the voices of the trans child movement to a wider audience. Here you will find varied perspectives from all generations and backgrounds on what it means to be a transgender youth in today's world. We will continually add new episodes. Click here to listen to past episodes of TransWaves !

Our latest installation focuses on what concerns our parents the most when it comes to their transgender children. Enjoy listening to the input of our very own Executive Director, Susan Maasch!
